Welcome to GroundworkOS. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the GroundworkOS mobile application and web application ("GroundworkOS," "the app," "we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account and using GroundworkOS, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
By accessing or using GroundworkOS, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions, and that you have read and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
GroundworkOS is a daily resilience practice app. It provides AI-guided conversation, structured journaling, health logging, daily practice tools, optional financial tracking through The Storehouse, optional financial advocacy conversations through The Wellspring, and optional peer-to-peer support through The Covey — all designed to help you build consistency and self-awareness, especially during hard seasons of life.
GroundworkOS is a personal practice tool, not a medical, financial, legal, or mental health service. It is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or crisis support. Your Guide is an AI — not a licensed therapist, doctor, attorney, financial advisor, or counselor.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please use a strong, unique password and do not share your login information with others. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at info@groundworkos.ai.
You may only create one account per person. Accounts are non-transferable.
You agree to use GroundworkOS for its intended purpose — personal resilience practice — and not to:
—Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
—Attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt other users' data or accounts
—Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
—Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the app
—Submit false, misleading, or harmful content through any feature of the app
—Use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation
—Use any GroundworkOS feature to harass, defraud, threaten, intimidate, or harm another user
Your Guide is powered by Anthropic's Claude AI. While the Guide is designed to be a thoughtful, supportive companion, it has real limitations you should understand:
—The Guide is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, doctor, medical professional, attorney, or financial advisor.
—Guide responses are AI-generated and may sometimes be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific situation.
—The Guide is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, thoughts of self-harm, or a medical emergency, please contact emergency services or a crisis line immediately.
—Do not rely on the Guide for medical decisions, legal advice, financial decisions, or any matter requiring professional expertise.
If you are in crisis: call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline), text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line), or call 911 or your local emergency services.
The Wellspring is your Guide in financial advocate mode. It is designed to help you find financial assistance programs, navigate insurance and billing disputes, and understand the landscape of financial options that may be available to you.
The Wellspring is informational only. It is not financial advice, legal advice, insurance advice, or tax advice. The Wellspring may describe programs, processes, rights, or options, but it cannot guarantee eligibility, outcomes, or applicability to your specific situation. Information provided by The Wellspring may be incomplete or out of date. Before acting on any information from The Wellspring, you should consult with a licensed financial advisor, attorney, certified patient advocate, benefits counselor, or other appropriate licensed professional.
The Covey is an optional peer-to-peer feature. By participating in a Covey, you agree to interact with other members respectfully and to follow these conduct standards. In any Covey, you agree not to:
—Harass, threaten, intimidate, demean, or attack any other Covey member
—Share another member's real name, contact information, location, employer, or other identifying details
—Solicit money, services, donations, or sales of any kind from other members
—Recruit members for outside groups, businesses, organizations, religions, multilevel marketing, or political causes
—Provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice that requires a license — share your experience, but do not diagnose, prescribe, or counsel
—Screenshot, record, copy, or share Covey content outside the app in any way that identifies another member
—Post content that is sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or discriminatory toward any group
—Impersonate any other person, including other Covey members, GroundworkOS staff, or public figures
—Promote, encourage, or instruct any self-harm, suicide, eating disorder, substance abuse, or violence
No expectation of confidentiality from other members. We protect your data from misuse on our end, but we cannot control what other Covey members do with content you share. Other members may screenshot, copy, or share what you post outside the app, despite our prohibition on doing so. Do not share information in a Covey that you would not be comfortable being seen outside the app. GroundworkOS is not responsible for the conduct of other Covey members or for any harm that results from another member's misuse of content you share.
Removal from Coveys. We reserve the right to remove any user from any Covey, or to remove any user from the Covey feature entirely, for conduct that violates these Terms or that we determine harms or threatens to harm other members. Removal from a Covey is separate from termination of your GroundworkOS account; we may take either action independently.
Reporting. If another Covey member is engaging in conduct that violates these Terms, please contact us immediately at info@groundworkos.ai with relevant details. We will review reports promptly.
You own the content you create in GroundworkOS — your journal entries, reflections, health logs, Guide conversations, Covey messages, and check-ins. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content, and we do not use it for advertising or to train AI models.
You are responsible for the content you submit. Please do not enter content that is harmful, illegal, or violates the rights of others.
GroundworkOS offers paid subscription tiers managed through Apple App Store In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing, depending on the platform you use. Pricing, billing cycles, free trial terms (if offered), and cancellation procedures are disclosed at the time of purchase and managed through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, in accordance with the applicable Apple or Google payment terms. To cancel your subscription, manage it through your Apple ID or Google Play account — GroundworkOS cannot process cancellations on your behalf.
Refunds for subscription purchases are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies and are not issued directly by GroundworkOS.
GroundworkOS, including its name, branding, design, features, metaphor-based pillar names (including but not limited to The Mirror, The Battery, The Gates, The Storehouse, The Wellspring, and The Covey), and underlying technology, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without our express written permission.
GroundworkOS is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee any specific outcomes from using the app. Your use of GroundworkOS is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GroundworkOS and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app. This includes, but is not limited to, damages related to AI-generated content, content posted by other users in The Covey, financial decisions made in reliance on information from The Storehouse or The Wellspring, data loss, or reliance on any information provided through the app.
You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. You may leave any Covey at any time through the Manage Coveys screen. Upon account deletion, all your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, or to remove users from individual features (including The Covey), for violations of these terms, harmful behavior, or misuse of the app or its AI features. We will provide notice where reasonably possible.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through a notice in the app. Your continued use of GroundworkOS after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of GroundworkOS shall be resolved in the courts of Oregon.
